All weekend long I was hunting for that graphic. I knew I had it somewhere and yet it was buried in the 3 GB of photos/graphics that I have here. I wanted to post it on your blog!
I eventually found it - yesterday - and then thought, "Cia, you are being too pushy. Don't."
AND HERE IT IS! I HAVE CHILLS! THIS IS SO AWESOME AND CRAZY! A total total bit of unspoken synchronicity! You must have been reading me censoring myself here silently!!!!
I'll take that as a nudge, Heidi. But then - how funny. Cia's thinking was that she didn't want to intrude on my thang. Honestly Heidi, the other day I thought I'd create a cover for you - and then thought the very same thing! You're a writer and an artist, so I thought you might not like me making you a cover.
I know I like to paint and illustrate, but somehow, what I can do for picture books, I can't do for novels. I want to see someone elses's work on the cover of my book. Is that weird???
It's so, so hard to design things for yourself! It's common for design studios to hire other people to design their corporate ID. It's like picking baby pictures. How do you decide?!
